Chicken at Spago Marina Bay Sands Food Review

This review concerns the “Pan roasted organic chicken” from Mr. Wolfgang Puck’s “Spago” restaurant located in Marina Bay Sands.

Food & Drink: 9/10

Upon first seeing the dish being served to me, my only thought was this: “Wow, very large chicken!” The menu did not specify portion sizes, and if you choose to dine here and order this particular dish, I would recommend sharing it.

All this aside, the meal itself was a 9/10. The chicken came with a delightful sauce, a wonderful combination of salty, sweet, and sour, and when accompanied by the mushrooms, provided satisfaction to all the flavour profiles (excluding spicy).

The dish came with a bowl of mashed potatoes, which I personally did not try, but according to my mother were “very creamy! They strain it twice” [sic].

Service:

Meanwhile, the service was excellent with very friendly and attentive waitstaff.

Atmosphere:

The atmosphere of the restaurant was very nice: modern and sophisticated. However, I do feel as if the music taste could be improved by refraining from playing the song “Wonderwall” by Oasis, as it brings back many painful memories for UWC students such as myself.
